• Eligibility: Non US citizen age 0-89 traveling to USA and traveling outside their home country.
• Coverage Length: Min 5 days up to max 365 days.
• Renew Online: Policy can be renewed from 5 days to 2 years.
• Acute Onset of Pre-existing Condition: Up to the first $1,000 of Covered Expenses.
• Co-Insurance:
  • In Network: After deductible is paid by insured, plan pays 100% up to policy maximum.
  • Out-of-Network: Outside of PPO network, plan pays 80% of first $5,000, and 100% up to policy max.

ELIGIBILITY

Safe Travels USA Cost Saver plan provides coverage to non-US citizens who reside outside the USA and are traveling outside of their Home Country while visiting the United States or to the United States and Worldwide. This plan is not available to green card holders in the USA. This plan is not available to anyone age 90 or above.

EFFECTIVE DATE

An Eligible Person will be insured on the latest of the following dates: 1. your departure from your Home Country or Country of Residence; or 2. the date and time your completed enrollment form and correct premium are received; or 3. the effective date requested and shown on the certificate.

TERMINATION DATE

Coverage will end on the earliest of the date: 1. Your permanent return to your Home Country (unless you have started a Benefit Period); or 2. the termination date shown on the certificate for which premium has been paid; or 3. the date the maximum benefit has been paid.
